"Christmas Reading"

I'm excited that this Christmas break I will have time to read some books that I have been wanting to read for a while. Somehow I have managed to start three books and am hoping to finish all three before school starts back up. When I was younger I loved to read and could read all day and night but lately when I do read I can only focus for a little while until I begin doing something else. The three books that I am reading right now are Decision Points by George W. Bush, The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian and Twilight: New Moon. Twilight has just taken me forever to read because it is not very high on my priority list. The Power of a Praying Wife has changed my life already and I am only on the 2nd chapter. I highly recommend it to any wife out there. Lastly, Decision Points I am reading just for pleasure. It is so interesting and I have learned so much already. I just read about how President Bush met Laura and their whirlwind of a courtship, engagement and wedding. I was so excited to read that they were married on my birthday!! Of course I was not born yet but I just never knew that. As mentioned in a post last month, one of my best friends, Hannah (Wagner) Hastings was married on my birthday as well. November 5th must be a great day after all!
